Anyone in our area proformed this task yet? Mine took a dump last year and I'm looking to get this fixed before it gets to cold out this year.

I did a search because some one had a nice description on how to do this, but I couldn't find it. Wish you were closer, I'd be right next to you doing mine.:)

I had mine replaced almost 2 years ago.

You can do the change over without removing the dash, just FYI, the airbag and glove box needs to come out though.

I'll post up this weekend after I do Marauderman's. Will try to remove as little as possible.

When I had mine done at a stealership, they charged me $810. I brought my own new blend door motor so they only did the install.

BLEND DOOOOOOOOOOOR!!!!

I owe a debt of thanks to my 98 CV's blend door.

If it had worked without issue, I would not have gone searching for a replacement car.

Which led me to my Marauder.

WOW, I could do 3 or 4 a day, and gladly do them for that price.

+1. Just a hell of a time getting to some of the screws. A swivel and a lot of patience is a must for this job.

Oh yeah, I may have modified a couple of tools to make this go a little quicker, I would certainly take $800 for 2 hours worth of work though. :D
