Does anyone know what material is used or how the most common way is used to secure the new teeth on a badgeless grill?

I'm assuming it would be best to use a dremel to cut the old teeth out.

Any tips on making a badgeless grill yourself?

Just picked this grill up tonight and was hoping to turn it into a badgeless.

I used the 3M automotive plastic repair kit for rigid plastics when I knocked a tooth out of my badgeless last year with my Flex 3401 Polisher.
hasn't budged.

I bent up a coat hangar to fit inside the back of the teeth, top and bottom, and continue past the point where it was cut. I then epoxied it in place with something more suited for polyethylene.

Try contacting Zack at thechicagogarage...he was da' man when it came to building badgeless grilles for Marauders. I don't think he does it anymore, but he may tell you how to attach everything.

Bob, actually just found out that Zack is still doing badgeless grilles, and yup, he is THE man for that mod.

I used super glue for plastic to held them in place, then a soldering iron to melt the plastic together.
Too bad I can't paint worth a damn.

The plastic is thin enough to be cut with a box cutter. Permatex makes plastic weld. I've used it many times and never had it come apart even after years. I have a new badgeless grill to install on my car so my current used badgeless will be up for sale soon.

I hope that this isn't a thread derail but I'm looking for the mesh material used in grilles.

Does anyone know a source?

Thanks.

Did a google search for "stainless steel mesh". Plenty of sources.
