[The HERD] Fall VOLO Auto Museum Tour

Windy City Guys,

The HERD will tour The VOLO Auto Museum the weekend after the HERD Club October 18Th Meeting.. Saturday October 20. They have a group rate of just under $10.00 per person for admission. They also have a Haunted Halloween Trolly ride that lasts about 45 Min. it would be an additional charge of $7.00. The Volo Auto Museum has a place to eat on site.

15 people are needed for the group rate.. We will Caravan from Schaumburg to the VOLO Auto Museum.. Arrival at 10:00AM at Volo.

After the tour we can have Lunch at.

We will meet near The Woodfiled Mall about 9:00 AM.. The parking lot just west of the Woodfield Firestone store off Golf Rd.. The Caravan will pull out about 9:20AM..to head for Volo.. We should arrive just before they open at 10:00AM.

There are a few that want to have some breakfast and are meeting at 8:30 AM..

If you have a FRS radio bring it we use them for car to car communications.

We use channel 7 and private code 24

If I wasn't working the 20th I'd try and make it. Only been to Volo earlier this year. I usually go once a year but the place is so cool I'd love to go more but like I said work

Not a 100% sure that I will make it now. I have to work tonight at 9 in Crystal Lake and I got as far as buffing the roof and all the glass a few days ago and also thanks to work, of the rest of the car has been left in wax pickled despair since like Tuesday:(

No one but you would care, my car looks like it hasn't been waxed - ever. If I can make it I will but not looking good, because of schedule. Don

Guys,

Thanks for hanging out with us today hope that we do some more events together. We are working on our events schedule for next year.
Looks like we will have 4 McDonald's Cruise nights and and some other events as well..
I will keep you all posted.. There is some discussion on a spring open car show..
