Just installed my Lidio tune with my factory gears but Im not able to feel much of a difference in the car. Will it be more noticeable once I install the 4.10 gears? What should I notice?

Take it up and down some hills. No more buggy lugging. It will hold a gear longer. A much better shift schedule. The transmission doesn't hunt around as much. The WOT response is much better. The 4:10s will get you up and moving off the line faster.

If you're not feeling a difference, you haven't hit the pedal hard enough.

The custom tune makes a huge difference, gears will help, a CAI will help and so will headers, after that save for boost

Did you get a 4.10 tune from Lidio with your tuner? You'll need it once you change the gears for best performance

You ought to be feeling SOME noticeable difference with an aftermarket tune compared to stock. Have you owned faster cars than an MM before? That might affect your feeling of the difference over stock a bit. I will say though that going from a Lidio tune to a Z tune made a big difference all over again from stock to Lidio tune.

The big changes you feel will probably come primarily in the transmission schedule tuning; even producing the same HP you might be surprised how much faster an automatic-transmission car feels (and actually is, as a matter of fact) with a properly programmed transmission shift and T/C lock schedule.

I got the Reinheart tune and it was like nite and day. Felt like when I went from 3.08 gears in my truck to 4.10.. A WOW moment. :burnout:

Are you sure you installed it? At what speed does it go into OD?

Start from a dead stop, accelerate slowly and count the number of times the car shifts.

1-2, 2-3, 3-OD Look at speedo.

A friend had his MM S/C. He let me drive it as it was just installed. I immediately knew the S/C tune was not loaded because it went into OD at the stock MPH. The S/C Tune was in an oddly labeled file on the tuner.

Lidio's tune won't go into OD until 63 MPH.

Went back to stock tune , getting 4.10 installed tomorrow then I will load that tune.

I dropped about 0.4 sec on the 1/4 mile same day 15.39 Stock, 14.97 Lidio 93 Octane tune. Probably can't "Feel" that in the but o meter but it's a pretty good gain.

I installed the Lidio tune a couple a couple of weeks ago. Power-wise there is a slight difference but the real kicker is the transmission shift schedule and the actual shift events... wow!!! I took a co-worker to lunch and the 1-2 shift at WOT snapped his head back to the headrest.
Also, a slight correction to a statement above; the Lidio tune holds off torque converter lock-up until 63mph rather than holding off shifting into OD below 63mph.

You're correct, it's not OD but TC lockup.

My car turns 2800 RPM with 4.10 gears at 80 MPH. Still able to get decent mileage on the road.

Cool thanks I'm puting in the 4.10s and the car is being tuned by me with Delta Force software I also bought a stallion 9.5 billet 2800 stall but going to try gears first.Anybody Runing stall converters on stock MM with boltons, I have K&N cold air,egr delete,removed all cats and installed 2 magnaflow cats X pipe and mufflers,march sfi pulley and have'nt track test it yet.

Also whats the best AFR@ wot and max timing runing 93 octane for anybody doing their own tuning out their? I have wideband Lm2 and Data scout data logger to monitor my tuning on my Marauder?

At 65 you'll be running just a touch over 2 grand.

3.73s aren't going to do much for you, 4.10s or 4.30s are better choice.
