Power mirrors

My power mirrors didn't work.I put a new switch in (new from Tousley $18+10 shipping)..Now the passenger side mirror is working perfectly.But,the drivers side won't work..Yes I slide the top part of the switch back and forth,nothing.Any ideas???Are they seperate motors????Remember,before new switch,neither worked...

Anyone have an idea what's wrong? How do I check the motor?

Mine all of a sudden decided they would only go down and in. Probably bad solder joints in the switches like the rest of the electronics on the door.

You would need to access the connector for the mirror, i.e. remove the door panel and verify voltage is at the connector for the mirror first, if the voltage is there, then you need to look at the mirror.
