has anyone else bought one off of ebay? i bought the one that came pre painted, it actually came out to be really nice but it took longer then i thought it would to install...after about 20 min of chopping the under side of the trunk up to find the screw holes i drilled it came out looking perfect

i was kindve scared at first to buy that ebay spoiler but if anyone is wondering about it they are worth it

it states in the description it is "factory style" so i don't think its OEM

The original ones are molded by a company in England for Ford. I would love to know the story behind that since I don't think MM/CV/GM's are a popular car over there.

Even the current ones say "Made in UK" on the underside and a 2002 ford part number with a Mercury waterfall emblem.

They come with plastic templates to line up the bolt holes for a punch in the outer trunk skin and paper templates to drill the 1" holes in the underside. My printer is kaput or I would scan the paper templates for use by all.

If he did, then he did two of them. He currently has one with LEDs every inch from end to end on PROZACK. He said it was a super PITA but it looks SWEET!

I have one of these. I ordered unpainted and had my friend's dad spray it. Looks exactly the same as OEM if it isn't.

I'm sure the color is fine. It should come with a template for drilling the four holes. Mine didn't of course.. I just found dead center and measured both ways. It was a little scary all them years ago but she fit perfect.
