PVC valve

I decided to change my pvc valve to a real 90 degree valve.The elbow boot I had on it collapsed at Wilmington,FBM can attest to that...There are tabs on the side,does it just twist out???The one in the picture is not mine but,I have the same valve.

1/4 turn worked on mine it was real tight though so I needed a pliers.

Correct. Is the new one threaded also?

can we use the one that's not threaded? Looks like a can that just drops in??I ordered one and they sent me a EV111 which is a drop in can type..It came with a plastic F elbow...I'm thinking it's the wrong one.Anyway with the way the F elbow is made,there isn't space for the hose to fit between the forks.They do send a cap off for the top thiner branch but,I can't see how it would work...

Ok,the deal is I received the PVC valve for a supercharged car EV111..(according to the vender) He recognizes his mistake..I believe the correct part number is EV257...I was only buying it to get a 90degree elbow.The one included won't work and neither will Dorman's 47047(way to small)...If anyone knows of an alternate I'm all ears...Thanks...bugsy Anyone know which part number is shown in picture in post #1 ???

This is my PVC valve.It has since been cleaned up but,that's it.The rubber boot making the turn is collapsing and so the problem.
