Size tire for 18x11 modified stock rims

Has anyone cut their stock rims to 18x11? What type and size tires are you running on them if you did so. What is the widest tire along with other dimensions, you can put on there with a 2 in spacer with the regular OEM's in the front?

That would be me bud! on my 18x11s im running Mickey Thompson street radials 30x12x18 with a 1.5" hub centric spacer

As for the front i run a 18x10 widened wheel on a Mickey Thompson street radial 28x12x18 with a 1" hub centric spacer

I prolly wouldnt go any wider than 18x10 on the front as anything wider will effect your lock to lock turning ability

Also if you go that wide on the back your going to want a wider front tire as its going to look very unbalanced, the front oem 235/50 was wimpy looking as it was

I don't understand the the whole terminology 30x12. It's not like for example 315x30x 18. It obviously means there wide but how does it compare? Will the spacers you recommended make it work? I did end up buying them.

The 315x30x18's are 25.4 tall, & 12.4 wide tread, 305x40x18 are a better option.

I would like to do 305x 40x 18 with the Mickey Thompson street radials, but I don't think they make them. That's the right looking tire and what I'm looking for in the area I live in.

No I run 285 50 18's rear, and 255 45 18's front, this winter I will be changing to 295 45 18's rear, but I don't have widened rims.

Its very simple my rear tire is 30" tall by 12" wide on a 18" wheel, hence 30x12x18, as to weather the spacers work will depend on how wide your wheels actually are?, a 1.5"
spacer will work on any Marauder all day long, if your rubbing anything with a 1.5" spacer your wheels are wider than 11"
