Got My MM Jacket Today!!!!

After about 3 weeks......My jacket came!!! :bounce:

Absolutely FIRST CLASS!!! Mercury has done very well!! :rock:

BTW....I drove "Da Machine" about 800 miles this week and IT JUST GETS BETTER!!! :D

Got 24 MPG after Dr. Reinhart's program install......at a fairly constant 75-80 MPH!! I'll bet we can get 26 MPG at 55 MPH.........NAAAAHHHH!!!!! :rasta:

My wife has still not received her jacket card from Mercury, even though we purchased the car in October. The dealer has checked on it several times and has finally offered to buy her the jacket.

I have two jackets. The one from Mercury and an after market one. The only difference is the factory jackets states " For the Marauder owner " and the after market on does not. Other than that the jacket is identical even down to the clothing bag and the hangar. :) IMO if the dealer is slow in processing your paper work there will be a delay in receiving your card for the jacket. :(

The postcard confirms your name, your MM VIN number, etc, and you indicate the jacket size of choice. I purchased my MM 10/20/03, received my postcard 01/31/04, and received my jacket 13 days later via UPS.

The cards and jackets seem to be sent in batches. I received my jacket 2/20/04; MM purchased 10/15/03.

My wife's jacket arrived this week. It is the official MM owners jacket with the For Mercury Marauder Owners label. The box included the letter from Alan Pinter. Interesting that we never received the card though. The dealer did come through for us though. Unfortunately, the jacket is a little big for my wife, but it fits me pretty well. She's disappointed but I'm not.

Jacket letter arrived today, 3 weeks after car purchase. :up: Now to wait for the jacket. It will probably be too warm to wear it much once it gets here, but I'm looking forward to it none the less.
