I am trying to start the process of getting a set of Penske shocks/struts assembled for my Marauder. As you may already know, off-the-shelf performance options are limited, or arguably non-existent.
So please help out a fellow Marauder owner if you have a worn out front and rear I can ship off to have new performance shocks built. The benefit to the Marauder community would be you have an excellent performance shock/strut option that does not currently exist, at least off the shelf. Once the first set is made, the specifications are known and documented, all you have to do is cough up the $$ ;)
I'm willing to pay reasonable prices for shipping and your time, although ideally we could just meet somewhere in Northern California. I am in San Jose.

I have both of my original shocks from the rear. I have not changed the fronts yet. The part number on them is 3W3D-18080-AB, is this what you are looking for?

Off the car, sitting in the garage?
I am looking for someone who has the original shocks or struts pulled off the car, probably because they were worn out and replaced.
I need to have performance shocks made, but this is best done with originals in-hand for the suspension shop to make measurements. I don't really want to down my car for 3 - 4 weeks by pulling the shocks off so I can ship them to the suspension shop. I have no need for the factory part number or factory shocks, I am looking for something better. But it will certainly need to fit factory dimensions, hence my seemingly odd request for old shocks.
I would like somebody's old shocks they are no longer using.

Thanks for the offer, I'll see if I have any luck with a Marauder owner here in California.
It sounds simple enough, but who keeps old shocks laying around? Worst case I'll end up downing my car and riding the train to work for several weeks . . . :(

I have a set of shock and front struts off a 2003 B. Do you need all 4 or just one of each.

Just one of each, assuming they aren't different left/right. And assuming 2003B suspension is the same as 2004. Pretty sure they are identical.

I will get one each boxed and get the weight to help with shipping price. PM me the address to ship to for price.

Thanks, I really appreciate you taking the time to do this! :bows:
I will post the results of using real Penske shocks, as well as the part numbers (once they are created) so any Marauder owner can buy them.
There are no "struts" on a Marauder the front has coil over shocks.

Yes, they are laying here in my scrap bin and headed to the bone yard unless you want them.
