I'm looking for recommendations for some stiffer rear springs for my 1999 grand marquis. I did look at adtr.net and they have some Eaton Detroit springs. But they don't give much of a description on whether or not they are performance springs or just a direct stock replacement. Basically I'm looking for performance gains from stock, and I also want the rear of the car to sit just a little bit higher than it does currently. Any input would be appreciated.

Get some P71 springs, stiffer than the standard springs and they will make the car sit higher too.

Any particular brand, part number, or link to get them?

The P71 rear springs don't seem to be available in the regular aftermarket so I'd check wrecking yards or Ford.

For the variable rate springs they have them at Napa but those won't give you the lift you are looking for.

Do you have a pic of your car with those springs installed? You can look in my profile for pics of my car and how high it currently sits.

MARAUDERS use airbags(in the rear), not coils springs, this is the part# your car calls for, if you want a certain height you will need aluminum coil spring spacers that sit flush underneath the coil springs

I've got 2005 CVPI HAP-code springs on order. They will fit the 99 GM right? From the research I did, sounds like they will. Had to jump on the killer deal I got for all 4 springs.

I can't say with certainty, but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't fit. The Panther chassis was changed in 2003...

After doing more research, sounds like the rears will fit but the fronts wont.
