OK, I went through this last week and got some great help from a few members (FBM #1)
I just got a new LCM from Jim, although evidently the last one was fine.
Symptoms were, headlights turned off and on at will.
This happened after replacing LCM as a precautionary measure about 1500 miles ago, prior no issues at all.
So last week when it happened again, I replaced the multi-function (headlight) switch too. still nothing. Then miraculously the headlights ame on but the fogs were intermittent.
But it got me home.
I had Jim send me another LCM, just installed and turned it on, headlights and no fogs, turned it off and back on, now nothing but park lights.
I am supposed to leave at 4:00 AM for Atlanta, in a tropical storm.
Can somebody send me a copy of the wiring diagram, I need to figure out how to tie a direct wire to the headlights via a toggle switch and a fuse.
ASAP please!!

Solved!!!
Friggin fuse in the DDM Tuning HID system checked good with a meter last week when this happened, after exhausting everything ford related I went back to the DDM system. when I touched the fuse the lights came on.
I could wiggle the holder and the lights would flicker. Pulled the fuse out of the holder and 1 blade fell RTF out!!,
I slid it back in the fuse and visually it looked fine and when I plugged it back in it worked until I thumped it, then out it went.
Grrrr, and I call myself a mechanic...:alone:
Special thanks to Jim aka Fastblackmerc for killer tech support and excellent product support. Even sending me another LCM when he knew full well his product was sound.
Jim, I hope to see you in Atlanta next weekend my friend!

Glad to hear that you fixed it.
Funny story one day I put a set of fog lights on my Expedition. As I was wiring it up I blu a fuse. I need another fuse so I look in the fuse box and saw a fuse that was all alone so I pulled it and put it were I needed it. I cleaned up and put everything away got in the car to go for a test drive and see how bright the fog light were the car would not start. I called a good friend of mind and he told me how to check all the fuses. Then I notice what I did I pulled the fuse that starts the truck. The things we do when we don't know.

Glad you got it figured out Gary. The day of my accident I was having issues with my HIDs even though I replaced my LCM. I bet my problem would have been solved with the same troubleshooting. Sounds good!

It's a chaffed wire behind the drivers side head, you need to burp the air out after you replace your COP's and clean your MAF. That'll fix ya right up! 😜😏

Just send me one of the LCMs back.
Or you can bring it to SSHS and sell it for FBM, and save the shipping.

I don't sell my spare LCMs.....
I send them to people that use their MM as a DD so they can use their MM.
