How a "Car Guy" Celebrates His 50th Birthday!!!!

Let me just say, I had an amazing birthday celebration for my 50th thanks to my family and friends!!

It all started out a week early when my sister was in town and my wife gave me a video montage of all my friends and family wishing me a happy 50th. That video even included some of the great friends I have on here and I appreciate the effort put in by those of you who participated!!!

Then my sister, brother-in-law, and Derrick (Deeznuts on here) got together to locate a vintage gas pump and then Derrick did his usual killer job on restoring a Tokheim gas pump. I am posting up some pictures from when they found it at a swap meet and the restoration process. The funny thing is that during one of my many visits at Derrick's shop I was looking at the pump because i have always wanted one and Derrick's son snapped a picture!

If the pump wasn't enough, my great friends Tiffany and her Dad, and Brandon and Harrison got together and made me a scale model of my shop. I am posting some pictures of the model and my real shop so that y'all can get a sense of how great the model matches the shop.

I have a playground spring ride out front and they even added that to the model!

My buddy Jeff and his great wife Angie made me a scrap book of our years together and it was awesome to look through all of it!

And of courses I got all sorts of other cool gifts including gift cards, an iPad, and a MacBook Pro.

Thanks to all of my great friends and family, I need to turn 50 more often!
