I've seen this done and actually rebuilt my own recently, but, some who've never done this and are curious, this is a nice little video to show the highlights.

Hmmmm... I don't think they ever did make part 2. This is the entire project from streetlegaltv: http://www.streetlegaltv.com/tech-stories/engine/building-a-850-hp-03-cobra-engine/

Thanks for the video. I would really like to be able to do this to my own car one day, Now just how difficult would this be for someone who would isn't a professional mechanic. how hard was it for you RacerX?

"Case in point, our white 2003 Cobra that ran in the 10-second range on all stock internals. With an upgraded Whipple supercharger, 20+ psi of boost, cat-back exhaust, injectors, upgraded throttle body, and headers, our 4.6L 4-Valve was making 640 rear wheel horsepower. "
I disagree with this statement - "While we can’t complain that we got over 11,000 highly abused miles that included over 40 runs at the track with it, it was inevitable that the stock engine was going to slowly pass away. "
