My rear defroster when pushed goes amber for just a moment -- then off. I didn't check in my manual yet. Is this just a fuse or does it go thru one of the larger black relays?

Relay #104 (40A) in the underhood replay / fuse box.

Never had to replace one....

Any FLAPS might carry them or can order them.

Just throwing this out there...

See if there is another 40 Amp relay you can swap with to see if it corrects the issue before throwing parts at it?

Thanks Mike, RE: throwing parts at it, I switched it with my starter relay 2 months ago (after purchasing and installing a new starter :rolleyes:) and vroom!
