MM.Net Logo Wear - Time to Vote

Okay, it's time to VOTE. As they say in Chicago, "vote early and vote often." (or, "Vote for the Daley of your choice but vote!")

I have to pick a logo to be embroidered on the hats/shirts/wind shirts/rectal thermometers/tongue depressors/duffel bags and so forth. Please indicate your preference. You have a week to vote before I have to make a selection. Each of the following (Hat-1, Hat-2, Hat-3) are representative MM logo wear. Pick one of the following MM hats.

Oh yeah - there will be BLACK Duffel Bags in the mix for between $40 and $50. There will be portfolios at around the same price (I hope).

Ignore the colors. As before, they will be available in any color you want as long as its black-and-silver (black hat; silver logo). People with DTR cars will get a black-and-silver hat and paint.

Blue Hat: Hat-1
White Hat: Hat-2
Black Hat: Hat-3

Mark - even though you said to ignore the colors, I just want to clarify the difference between the two logos, for everyone's sake.

Please confirm this is what we're voting on...

Hat 2: single outer and inner edge, letters will be the same color as the outline of Mercury.

Hat 3: Lettering is reversed - opposite color of the outline of Mercury, double inner and outer edge.

Hats will be black with silver thread and bill, correct?

Okay - to clarify:

The hats/shirts/windshirts/etc/etc/ will be ALL BLACK! The silver part will be:

1. the Logo (whatever we pick; see above), and
2. "possibly" some piping around the edge of the bill of the hat, or the collar of the shirt, or whatever. I am still negotiating this with the vendor and trying to figure out options. If I can't get the piping at a reasonable price, then the hat will be entirely black, except for the logo. If you want your name embroidered on the left sleeve of the shirt, it will be in silver thread that matches the logo.

The difference in the logo is Hat-2 has a sort of "outlined" logo - the letters are silver thread, as is the God's head, and the background color (which will be black) will show through. Hat-3 has the silver thread throughout, and the black color shows through as the letters. Hat-1 is an MM hat, because I am deranged.

Confused? I am.

The logo on hat #2 looks more like it would if it came from the factory. It has a cleaner look too.

I voted for #2 :banana2: . The Logo is more crisp, sharp, and easier to read. #3 looks to busy and confused. :lol:

Would like to see the hat as a totally black hat, as a white bill will really show the dirt quickly. Oh well, at least we'll keep the hats sold as they'll need replaced after one season of wear!;)

I was wondering if there was a cost diferance between the two also, 3 has a higher thred count it looks like which means more money. not sire if thats an issue either?

I voted for hat #2 because I have a prototype version of that one and like it very well. It is nearly exact, but in two shades of brown/tan.

If one becomes available in ALL black, with the silver embroidery, I want one. And I assure you, I will order one.

Seriously. Will these fit head sizes of 7 1/2 or more? Most "fitted" hats are only for "little people" AFAIAC. :P It's why I hardly ever wear them - all the cool looking ones are too small.
