Is there any difference between MM heads and Cobra heads???Can we use cobra heads? I saw that there was no interest in the ones I posted...The coil covers alone,I've seen sold for more than he's asking for the heads and coil covers....Inquisitive people want to know....

Both are C heads, so yes, the same.

03-04 Cobra and 03-04 Mach 1 heads are the same as ours. The only ones that are slightly different are the Lincoln Aviator heads which have a cooling head mod basically already done from factory.

99-01 DOHC heads are "C" heads. 03-current DOHC heads are a slightly different design but they are cross compatible. 98 and earlier are "B" heads.

My 2000-2001 Qvale Mangusta also uses the All Al cobra motor thus uses C heads.... However the motor is rated at different HP... It's rated as the HP/TQ of the 2001 Cobra Mustang...

99/01 and 03/04 heads are not even close to being the same. The 03/04 heads have larger exhaust ports and their intake ports have a raised floor and much better short turn radius.
There are two 03/04 castings, one with 4 plug threads and the other with 9.
The 05 Aviator heads have revised cooling passages and the same ports as the 03/04s and 9 thread plug holes.

So, if anything, it looks like upgrading to '05 Aviator heads would be the way to go, correct?
