Sorry if everyone but me already knew this, but for those who don't:
Click here (http://www.stealthauto.com/Products/Stealth-Bulbs---ChromeMirror-Signal-Bulbs-3157-(Pair)__ALT-SBCA-3157.aspx) if you've been looking for a replacement for the discontinued Sylvania SilverStar front turn signal bulbs. They aren't cheap, but at least they're available.

Those are the chrome ones.
Stryker, you bought a set of the 3175A Silverstars that I sold the other year ago.
RF just posted those up if anyone was still looking for the "chrome" type ones.

Have had a set of 'em in the Vic' for years and as the result of their performance and lifetime warranty, put a set in the 2011 F-150 last year.

I haven't seen an old Beetle in quite some time, considering how many they made I hope parts are still easy to get. ;)

The ones I linked to do look more "chrome" than the SilverStars were, but it's the same concept...getting rid of the "fried-egg" look. Unless you can find NOS SilverStars, this is the only other option.
Someone say CHROME??? :hmmm: :D

Can I just walk into a BMW dealer and buy these things? (Asking because they seem to be all about BMW on that site).
I'm pretty interested, but have no idea about getting them to Canada (and cost). My OEMs are flaking. Looking bad.
* Might actually buy some of those good Silverstar ones from Chris (ctrlraven); if the opportunity came up again? ;) (Ya I know...I had to past last time...)

Rockettman...I have an extra set I'd be willing to sell. I don't remember how much I paid for them (I think $15) and have no idea how much shipping to Canada will be...the package/weight would be pretty small/light, so I'm thinking $5 maybe? Anyway, PM me an offer....

I just installed these yesterday.

They look much better than the eggyolks but seem much, much dimmer when lit. I don't know if I like them :(
