Go 100mph. Well, I drove her down to SEMA this past week (about 1k total miles round trip) and during the freeway cruise on the way back I hit 100k. I timed it perfect and pulled off the side of the road.

Only crappy thing. I was on a pretty steep uphill grade. :mad2:

Coming back I had an excellent rabbit. I kept him about 1/2 mile ahead and set the cruise at 100 for about 120 miles. By far it was the most distance I'd ever gone at 90+. Had a few 120 sprints to help the open road bore.

A complete engine and trans overhaul is my plans. With only about 7,500 miles to go, I best get with it, or start selling off my collection of parts, retire it from track use, and just enjoy it the way she sits.

These mod motors are pretty tough. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Unless of course you're going for 450+ :)

Great Video Vortech. I'd worry about your trans overheating at 100 ish for 120 miles especially with 4.10's do you have a way to see how hot the fluid is when driving?

For starters I'd change the transfluid! :)

I got about 9K more to go, before hitting 100k...

Been over 450+ for three years. 😄 She's a healthy engine no doubt, but something's gotta give someday.

I took pics at 99997, 99999, and then at 100k. I also took pics at 107810 and 107811, respectively for driving a true 100k.

When I saw this, I thought you meant a 100k in mods, never mind, got the mods, not the miles. :D

Personally I'm upgrading all the worn-out rolling stock: rebuilt the axle with 31 splines and Wilwood brakes. Just ordered Metco rear suspension, addco sway bars, Penske shocks, Wilwood fronts and complete Ford front suspension and springs.

I'm hoping to have the rest of it finished within a month. It all needs to be done, too. I can tell it is worn. :(

I'll take more pics at 199999, 200000, 207810, and 207811.

We will just have to see if I have the MM for that long.
