New member selling item on here asking for western union for payment,am i over cautious or smart?

I do it at times but not with new people usually. Maybe you can wire it to a memeber close to him and have him buy it off of him and send it to you just to be safe?

If YOUR sending the Western Union you'll have to trust that you will get your stuff.

How new a member?

Might want to ask if anyone has dealt with them in the past.

I would think in this day and age, there are much safer ways of providing payment other than western union!

I'm not out to take anyones money especially over me trying to sell something on this sight. I've bought things from members off here I even drove 4 hours to meet a member on here. I'm just not sure how to use paypal and how to get money off there since I paid for stuff in person. I understand you being cautious though so I can't blame you.

I've even went so far as to send it to the person and wait for the payment to come as a check. That's just me. If the person not willing to be honest and truthful to do that, he's the one who has to sleep at night. God, will sort it out in the end.

You do what you'd like of course. Generally speaking, I would tend to trust almost everyone on here. I understand about him being new but, with a location of Ft. Bragg, he's even got a better chance of being truthful and honest. Good peeps here.;)

It's pretty easy. Sign up for a PayPal account, you can back it by a credit card, or deposit money.

For receiving funds, you can link a bank account to it, and they transfer money free of charge, though I believe you are limited to 5 transfers a month

PayPal. Super easy and super safe. Like Ponyup said. Add you bank account and when someone pays you. You have the option of transferring the funds from PayPal directly to your bank account. And of course you can always use your PayPal to purchase items online too. It's very good system.

paypal is super safe and saves alot of time to go send a western union then wait for it to arrive to the person and then wait for it to clear and a bunch of bs

i would NEVER buy or send anyone money any other way then paypal safest and fastest...save time and save money

Get on to the PayPal site and register.Very simple..Use your email address as your pay to,and payed from...

Simply threaten to call them out and give them a time frame. If they don't comply, call them out on here publicly and we will harass them.:D
