I've been a little busy lately on a few upgades. As some of you know, Landy put in Levi's old Novi 1200 into my car while I was out of the country and the motor didn't last but 1 pull. This is what it looked like.http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy269/MMBLUE/DSCN2891.jpg
Then, after that motor went south, I picked up a low mileage MM motor and it stayed in only for a short time while I was waiting for this to be built over in Cali.

A MMR-600. So the cleaning, scrubing and powdercoating began and we had this sitting in the driveway.

Then after a lot of work and help from Landy and Ron (BC4E) it ended up coming out like this.

I really learned a lot about my car and it was enjoyable getting all the parts and getting everything together for it to come out so great. Ron and I had a big puzzle to put together. Good thing we had his car parked behind mine so we could reference it when we put it back together. Thanks again Ron, and Landy.
I can't wait to get to the car shows now. Doubt I'll be taking as many trophies as Doom but, I am proud of how it all came out. :)

There are so many hoses and wires in our cars. Not like the old days when you could swap a motor in and out in an hour or so.

Somewhere in the high 4ish range. The lightening MAF that I have is pretty much maxed out. Soon after I recover from this a bit, I'll be getting a MAFia, MAF. She'll be in the Mid 5's then I guess. That's when we'll dial it in a bit better. It's my DD so got to keep it somewhat sane.

Thanks Joe ! Seems a lot of your stuff ends up in my car. Which one is this part out of ? I already had the worlds fastest Marauders old motor in my car ? To bad it only lasted 2 years and 1 pull on the dyno :help:.

Hey MMBlue, what caused the first motor to go south???

Hey MMBlue, what caused the first motor to go south???
The very first original motor had the treaded hot #8 cylinder problem. The motor which went on the dyno already had 90K on it went it went in and 114 on it went it went to motor heaven. The reason it went south was blow by in the heads because of the pressure and got a rod knock.
