Hey all, i recently had a check engine light come on in my car and the code was p0190 for a fuel rail pressure switch. My car has been holding back alot. Did anyone ever replace and know the cost or if its a quick fix?? I was going to replace that ans the fuel rail. Thanks all

Sensor*** sorry
It's a quick fix!
The sensor sits right on top on the passenger side at the front!
Only 2 screws hold it in.

The other week ago when I was leaving work, started the car up and CEL came on, it was the P0190 code, cleared it and went on my merry way. I will probably get another one for the new engine.

Very possibly the code is legit and you have fuel pressure problems(this was my case), changed the fuel filter lately???

It popped up a few times (months apart each time) after I did the 3" filter mod and got rid of the fine line bends by the filter.

You really need to verify fuel pressure at WOT, the sensor may be reporting the fact and not crying wolf... My problem was one of the in tank pumps had disconnected itself, sensor was fine...
Yes I tried a sensor(borrowed one from a buddies P71), made no difference, still went lean at WOT...
