Let's just say east coast and not a regular poster,but has been on the site yesterday to I assume read the post. I wish him luck with sale, but I don't think it is gonna happen. It may be rare etc. but you could do 3 eaton swaps for that..Might get a $7500 for a buy it now IMO.

Oh yeeeeeaah!!! I totally forgot about that, lol. Well, here's how that turned out. I got it and immediately tried to figure out how to put a light in it, because to me that would just be the icing on the cake. But, being busy and L-ville days away, I had to scrap that idea. So I got some very thin plexiglass sheets, some JB Weld, 2 sided tape, and a set of el-cheapo 6X9 speakers from AutoZone. I liberated the magnets, tossed the speakers, and proceeded to make it a magnetic sign, without doing permanent damage to it. That proved difficult. The design looked great, and it held together for a day, it even made the trip to L-ville but had started coming apart already. I don't think it would have held up over 10 miles an hour. I couldn't make the sign stay attached to the base because the magnets wanted to bend the bottom to the curve of the roof, and the sign didn't want to bend. However, the sign is still doable, I have not given up. I have a better design in mind, light included this time. :cool:

Exactly Rex. I wanted a Trilogy bad and I had a chance to purchase one the the last Trilogy's, spoke to Jerry Barnes and everything. Said if I wanted one it was mine, just set up the credit card and he would ship the complete kit out, but I just couldn't invest the $6500 plus installation, tuner into my car. So I did the Vortech kit from a member selling and also purchased Metco's, new rubber, had my rims re-finished drove to MO's to install for the price of Trilogy. Is it the same? prolly not, but I got some boost and other important stuff too. Trilogy kit is awesome and I wish I had a Marauder years ago and could have done one then.

It's not 1 of 250 from Ford. Wether Trilogy, Eaton, Vortech, etc. I don't think the resale value is much different given similar condition and add-ons. Slapping a 12k Trilogy kit on your car doesn't mean it's 12k more on top of KBB value. :beer: MM, Midget Master! :P

Ebay is full of people trying to overcharge for there item, they either find a sucker out there who pays the price, or they relist at a lower price.

I once seen a guy with a 2004 mach 1 on ebay listing it for a 1,000,000 and in his description he said he did it because its his listing and can do what he wants. Of course it never sold but people seen it so they contacted him and he probaly sold it for a normal price.

Its advertisment to list a high price.

I did it about 10 years ago with a 1966 ford galaxie convertable I restored listed for 10 days before carlise for about 15,000 in description i stated i be showing the car at carlise and we sold it there for 8500
