Please!? I am looking at building my own cold air kit. I need to know what size hose the throttle body needs. I think its 5" diameter. Thanks guys! (MY CAR ISN'T HERE YET).

First they said it was a family business, own trucks, own drivers. 3 days later it was "not picked up from the board yet" so they lied. Fired them found a local company to go get it. Should be picked up tomorrow. Thursday. At least if they screw up I know where to find them (local) LOL

The JLT is your best bet.

Don't cheap out, JLT is the best for the money by far.

I like building things myself sometimes. This is pretty basic. Just need a reducer from throttle body to cold air pipe to MAF in this case. 4" diameter exhaust pipe painted dark blue pearl with a reducer hose to the stock MAF. 9" K&N and I have my cold air kit...........

But of course, I am considering the JLT

Frozen boost , or Treadstone are great places to get silicone reducers, T-bolt clamps etc

Metal pipe will heat up, plastic tubes dont heat as much, I thought of doing this myself too, untill I got my used jlt for $75. 4.5" is the measurement
