ok guys I have a tough decesion to make here I was offered 24 k for the MM a couple of days ago and this person is real serious as he wants to come by and leave a deposit of 5 k......
I have lots of mods on the car........people that have followed my upgrades........
I know that anyone else building the same type of set up would spend more that what I was offered.........
I know that I more than likely wont be able to get this type of cash offer later down the road........
My prob is that I really enjoy the car as well as my family.....
the kids and wife have expressed that they would be dissapointed if i sold it.......

There's your answer.
What could you buy to replace it that you or your family would enjoy as much?
The money's good, no doubt, but I guarantee the regret will last far longer than those bucks will...

If you don't need the money, you and your family enjoy the car, and you are a TRUE car guy...what's the point in selling? Its all up to you...I can't sell a toy...thats why I have so many!!!!!

Yup...there's your answer. Did you buy the car hoping one day to get great cash for it? No! (I remember you telling me about the F-150 you were going to get until this showed up).
Enjoy it. That's what you bought it for. Get rid of it WHEN YOU ARE TIRED OF IT!

Sounds like you need to lose the car covers and get you a bigger garage, Chris! :D

My attached garage is 26 x 36 (holds 7 including daily drivers), the rental next door has a 24 x 36 (holds 4 cars, 1 John Deere and 2 motorcycles) The barn is 24 x 36 (full of Jd's and a quad) the shop houses the drag car and the sleds (during winter) and we rent two spaces locally.....I need a BIG barn!

Sell it then buy mine along with a crap load of goodies and you would still have cash left over. lol
You already talked yourself out of it with the last statement in your first post, your family and you both enjoy the car. I would keep on enjoying it until you get tired of it and want to try something new.

I would sell and start over. The odds of you getting that type of offer again is slim

If you enjoy it, if your family enjoys and you do not need the money ... do not sell.
I have been offered money for mine, no where near the 24K and I have lot less mods; but, I will not sell it. I like driving the car. My wife likes it cause it makes me happy, though to her 'it is just a big boat'. My kids love the sound ...
Keep it. When it does not meet your needs any longer, sell it.

If it was me, I'd have 24 thousand green pieces of tissue paper to dry my tears with.

Car is worth more than $24K in parts/mods installed on it. If you and your family like the car however that makes it worth a lot more. I'd keep it, especially how anal you are and did things correctly.
Can't get anything good new for $24K, perhaps half of a 2010+ black Shelby convertible 6 speed...

You have a lot of blood, sweat and tears invested in your car so I personally would not sell it. You just finished getting it together so enjoy it for awhile and then sell it when you get tired of it. You could not replace your car for $24,000.....

1. Sell Marauder.
2. Buy used CTS-V.
3. Install go fast goodies.
4. Profit????:D
Just kidding! I feel your pain. I've got too much time/money/blood/sweat/tears invested in my Marauder to give it up. But the CTS-V is probably on the very short list of cars I would get. Too bad I'm not a fan of GM.

If you don't need the money, you've got the space, the family still enjoys it.
Keep it till you no longer feel the love.
