The MM with the Vortech has switched hands a couple of times in the past couple of months. It originally sold on ebay for about $10K or less and now is being sold again. Don't know if the sale fell through the first time or the new owner is turning the car like the first buyer. They're even reusing all the same photos in the listing. I thought about bidding on the car but figured all the bidding would drive the final price to just north of stupid but it actually sold for about $10K the first time.

The owner of the Vortech one was being shady when my friend Lenny was asking to look at it. He didnt want a mechanic to look at it, no dyno sheet, and zero info on the mods done to the car.

So if you look at the pics of the DTR...is it just me or does that under carriage look like crap for only having 24K on it? Looks way too scabby, the exhaust is nasty too, look closely at the pic showing the tail where its welded onto the pipe...my car at 94K and driven in the winter is cleaner than this one.

My thoughts exactly. Mine, unfortunately deceased, has been through a couple of salty winters--before I covered it seasonally--and it currently looks much cleaner; especially along the driver's side rear frame rail.

With regards to the black Vortech that was on Ebay, I was really turned off by the gaudy Cobra fender badges, Police Interceptor badge, SVT badge, Saleen S281 badge, and the "Supercharged" lettering stuck on the fenders. In my humble opinion, stuff like that molests the car's great appearance and call me picky, but I wouldn't feel very confident buying one from an owner who viewed those add-ons in a positive light. I think there is certainly a correlation between the presence of all of these items--which are collectively trying to depict the car as something it isn't--and all of the other aforementioned discrepancies pointed out by Blackened300a.

+ one on that was told by owner would have to put a 1k cash deposit down to drive it :/ wtf never have been told this before .
