Hey everybody,
I just wanted to let you know that last night I found out about the unfortunate passing of a mercurymarauder.net member.
Mark Chard a.k.a. k_r_a_c_k_e_r (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/member.php?u=10609) owner of Marauder #5687 of #7838 lost his fight with a chronic illness on September 22, 2012 at the age of 28.

Mark was a great guy and I'm glad I had the opportunity to hang out with him a few times. He attended a lot of panther community meets in Ontario, as well as attending the St. Thomas Assembly Plant meets in 2010 and 2011 and the CVN/MM.net Erie PA meet in 2011. He was very passionate about cars and was friendly to everyone he met. He was a great asset to this community and he will be greatly missed.

Mark had sold his Marauder earlier this year (or late last year) and bought a Prowler. While many of us at CrownVic.ca questioned the decision, he said he'd always wanted one. Some good-natured poking was all that ensued, and we'd have loved to have him at any of our meets in any car.

He came to CVN's last two STAP meets and the Erie 2011 meet. Cool dude.

My condolences go out to his family and friends. I met Mark at a panther meet a few years back when i had my p71. I was drooling over his marauder, it was a low mile spotless car. We chatted about his marauder and his previous cars, a true car guy and real nice person. R.I.P Mark.
