Well another beautiful day so I Mr:Cleaned & blow dried the MM. the wife and I hit the road. We had a cold front pass by yesterday and it got down to 45* . Today it is a crisp 60* and the air is very dry. The car was extremely responsive and I think the stock BFG's are loosing it because it's getting to the point where it is ridiculously easy to break the rears free.
I kinda drove fast last week so I did not reach triple digits today (so Mayra won't give me the evil eye) However at a red light there was some new sporty Pontiac Grand something and when I took off easy, he guns it, and I remember someone else posted here about an embarrassing moment with a Grand something so I floored it, the rear broke free but I let up slightly hooked up and totally crushed the Pontiac all very quickly and very decisive...in about 4-5 seconds the Grand something was ancient history in the mirror and I slowed up for the next red light so he could catch up and look at the big black thing that crushed him. Life is good.

Usually I'm very laid back driving when I'm out with the wife, but your post was fresh on my mind....enough of that !!!
We got to stick together, don't want them wrong wheel drive 6 cylinders to get an attitude.

I'm on my second set on the rear - 24k on the clock & 3k on the tires. The rears break away very easy now. Running 27 psi since I ran out the centers on the first set @ 32 psi. No mods to the car yet - positively more get up and go than when it was new.
Nice job smoking the Pontiac!!

Thanks, guys. What I really think was kinda cool is that the wife didn't even notice what was going on until it was over, then she said to me: " did you realize you were burning rubber ? You are going to get a ticket !!! " it was all over by then. Four second take down. :baaa: :baaa: :baaa:
