Since I upgrade to a Pioneer in-dash unit I no longer have a need for mine. I bought it two years ago and maybe used it 3-4 months after I installed my re-Q sound processor and just plugged my phone into that but still remained installed in my car for basically a clock purpose. lol
Unit works with zero problems and is in great condition. I got it out of a 2007 Mercury Mariner that had 41k miles on it.
$180.53 includes paypal fee (if paying by this way), shipping and insurance.
Local sale would be $170 cash.

This is a very good deal.
I paid 200 for mine on ebay.
This radio will direct fit into our Marauders. Takes a few minutes to swap out.
I went through two stock radios before I bought the Escape radio.

Actually, it has more of a musical sound to it, pretty decent head units acoustically, I just picked one up on epay, it was listed in an odd location, snagged it for $100, and they are well worth double that figure.
Main thing I like is the ability to play Mp3 discs, burn six and you'll have 800-900 songs at your finger tips... Like mine so much I repl the single CD in my '07 MGM with a 2nd unit I bought...

Negative no cassette player on this one as it has a 6-disc in-dash changer unit.

I'd be into it, but I would have to recontruct the whole factory systems since it seems everything else is missing (amp, sub, etc).

I will look around in my stuff that I have accumulated for the two harnesses that came off of the back of my Escape Audiohile unit. I'll PM you my result.
The deal above is a sweet one. Get it while you can.

I see they have an AUX button, but I don't see an AUX port. Does it support a 3.5 mm AUX connection?

Yes I still have it, I can post up pictures later tonight as I am at work right now.

No, there isn't a 3.5 mm aux connection. I believe the AUX is for vehicles that have a factory rear dvd entertainment system and by selecting AUX it would allow whatever was playing on the dvd to come through the factory speakers.
Also just to mention to anyone if you install this unit and current have the CD Changer in the trunk, it will no longer work as this unit has 6 disc changer in-dash.

I read in the 2007 Escape owner's manual that the Aux button is inop.

That is cool, but like I posted earlier, I would have to find all the other stuff too (which I don't even know exactly what is missing except the opbvious-head unit, amp and sub). Please don't hold out for me. I have been digging thru this stereo wiring nightmare for almost a week and still can't get the front speakers to work!:mad2: This deal is probably a little ahead of my timeframe.

I am interested in buying the Escape Audiophile unit from ctrlraven, but I need more information. I currently have an iPod interface which plays my iPod through the factory radio. The iPod interface is located in the trunk and is connected to the cable which was originally connected to the CD changer. This set-up works well, and I want to be able to continue to use it. Would the installation of the Escape Audiophile unit prevent me from playing my iPod though the radio. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

okay so forgive me here. Arr you guys saying I can direct plug n play this? no wiring harness, no mounting hardware etc? will imedialy work with mystock audio?
yep. only thing your trunk changer becomes unusable because the radio itself holds six cd's.
plug and play. two connectors and antenna.
pretty cool, i have to think on it for a second every penny has been going towards my Eaton Swap lol. But thats a pretty cool upgrade.

The hardest part of the swap is just pulling the upper dash trim apart.

Pictures of the unit I am selling are in post #27.
Any aftermarket unit will not be compatible with the trunk CD Changer or the Sub. Once you start going aftermarket it's best to keep going with after market such as a matching brand cd changer (if they even still have ones) and get an aftermarket amp and sub.
Bump. Radio is still for sale!

As stated... no aftermarket head unit will be compatible with the stock amp & sub.
If you are upgrading to a new unit why do you need a CD changer?
Newer units have the capability to run SD cards, USB drives, MP3 players and iPods. Much more storage and control ability than a CD changer.
As for the stock amp & sub, replace them. Go with a Bssslink instead.
If you are just looking to replace the stock head unit, the unit offered for sale is a good deal and you can keep the sub & amp.

Yep, everything is actually the same besides the CD Changer in the trunk no longer being active since you will have 6-disc in-dash and no cassette.
I know you liked to use the cassette as an adapter for your phone or mp3 player. There are modules you can buy that will interface with the radio and allow you direct 3.5mm plug-in from a phone or mp3 player.
