Yeah, obviously a serious defect somewhere in the vehicle, I'd peddle the thing, and quick, before it develops some other really serious issues. I'm figuring it's prolly worth, like, $8.00....

DEFYANT please post your burnout video! I can't find it anymore.
I don't think DEFYANT's burnout during SSHS7 ever made it to YouTube. "Merc" made the DVD and offered it to members. His burnout was 63 seconds long and he lost out to the guy with color smoke. Charlie should have won on sheer volume of smoke even without the color gimmicks. BTW - I have the DVD. :D

Timeslips say DEFYANT would take DOOM by 0.224 seconds (about 2-car lengths or 37.3 feet at the line). However, Charlie may not have recent "practice".

The pic above was from the day I cracked my one off 11's run. It was a test n'tune day at Cecil Drags and it was a battle with a Buick Grand National. We pretty much were hot lapping the cars. The thread was called "Elevens" : http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=22937
I dont want to talk about SSHS7 - doctors orders. I dont want to go back on meds! LOL Screw time clocks and burnouts, seriously, that was one of the best trips with the ole Defyant - even though I was excacting some revenge on her..... We're good now.
Anyways, thanks Jake, for the run down the quarter mile of memory lane. I have more to share, but need to run and pick up DefyantSon from DefyantExWife! LOL.

I will bring Defyant Maurander out of retirement and give you that run - if you want.
The only reason why it was "retired" was I felt she has gone as fast as I was going to take her. She is modded to the point of: this is what you get. And it suits me just fine. Besides, it never really interested me "hone my drag racing skills". This car is an awesome machine to drive and enjoy the way she is.
Truth is, your Marauder has certainly evolved over the last few years and will most likely beat Defyant Marauder. I have been contemplating running her again since she has probably doubled the miles on the clock since those track days. Lets say, shes a bit more loose now a days ;).

There was no challenge made by me! I love and RESPECT your beast! And it was 100% the inspiration for me making my marauder what it is today!
