Well... The other day driving to work I started to hear a fan knocking rattle like noise just ever so slightly start to build up when later while almost pulling to work it happened. I heard a loud clanking noise come from under the hood and I pulled over as soon as I could and turned of the car. Now heres my speculation because I haven't had anyone look at the car untill Im ready to have it fixed in 2 weeks, now about 3 months ago I had a guy who was looking at the car because he wanted buy one tell me that he heard the oil pump going bad and to be careful because when it went it would just happen suddenly. So my question is could my oil pump have gone bad and possibly maybe something inside the motor got damaged in the process or did i flat out blow the motor and if so prices please as this will be getting fixed and recomended near by shops??? Thank you

Sadly, probably yes to all 3 questions. Is anything leaking anywhere? Block may be salvageable if it doesn't have an extra hole in it now.

Ask Doom what noises the car makes before the motor blows. He's blown his up a few times.

Drain the oil and look for small metal flakes/pieces. Cut open oil filter too. Iron would be from the powdered metal gears in the oil pump and any aluminum could be from pump and other areas. :depress:
The engine will have to come apart before being started again. You may or may not have a big repair in front of you.

Well you can find complete, used Marauder engines for a couple grand. That's probably the easiest on the wallet route.

Drain the oil thru a paper filter (or wire) and see if it's full of metal shavings, or drop the oil pan and see what's up. It may just be your oil pump came undone and is banging around in there. It's hard to say, man. Could be blown, could be fixable if you shut it down in time.

Are you positive it's engine? Your description sounds like you could have had rad elec fan bearing failure. Worth checking before digging in to engine.
