I was able to get ahold of some of this a couple months back. I have to come out and put my stamp of approval on it! This stuff is AMAZING! Russ Prior got me hooked on Croftgate products at MV8 a couple of years ago. I have always been skeptical using new products but Croftgate is the real deal. I called in and ordered a few things a while back and I got a call from Frank at Croftgate and he told me about Project X. He sent me a bottle to sample and I was shocked at what it did to my black paint. I thought that Quick n Slick was the bomb but Project X enriches the paint even more. You put Project X on and then put Quick n Slick on top to seal it in. This stuff is simply amazing and I highly recommend it! You can order this from 03mmmonroe. You won't be disappointed! :2thumbs:

This stuff is brand new so it might be a while on the Croftgate site. I'll pull mine out in the sun tomorrow and do some before and after on the trunk. I'll post up picts afterward.

Ummm...

It's been on their site for a few weeks Chris.

It's on their homepage 1/2 way down where it shows pics of their new bottle look.

Or, clicky here -> http://croftgateusa.com/project-x

I will see what I can do about bringing so to Kentucky! With the cost of $35 you only use a small amount product so this will last you a long time depending on how often you truly clean and polish your car. This would not be used like the last detail for quick clean up.

Sorry I didn't get before picts but here is after. I have done my car twice now and only used very little of the bottle. It goes a long way.

Russ introduced me to this stuff last year before the Chip Foose car show. We washed (with no water) my car in the parking lot of a gas station. I then went out and bought the CROFTGATEUSA VALUE PACK http://www.croftgateusa.com/croftgateusa-value-pack and have been very satisfied. The Project X that Chris mentioned is not a part of this package but the Quick N Slick is. Chris recommended using the Project X and then applying the Quick N Slick. I plan on buying the Project X.

One of many things I notice is that the car seems to look cleaner longer.

It has been great to see Russ at a few events to get pointers on how to properly use the products. I highly recommend this stuff.

What process did you use Chris? Apply the Pink Stuff or Aqunal X, then Project X and finally quick -n-slick? How often do you need to apply Project X?

I wash with their wash n wax, Then I put on the Project X. While it is still on there I go over it with the Quick n slick. I come behind that with lightly damp microfiber towel and a dry microfiber towel to even it out. Works like a champ. This is all put on and taken off with microfiber towels.:beer:

I have never used the stuff. Good to hear of another fine product. I have found over the years if the paint is clean you remove the debris by clay, remove oxidation and or small scratches with a pollish a good carnuba wax will give you a mirror finish.

"Waterless car wash" is difficult for me - I would think that if you tryed to get the dirt off a car without flushing it with a lot of water the whole time, you'd be grinding it into the paint. Is this old-school-think now ?

You are correct on waterless. I'm not a fan of it at all. The wash n wax I use from Croftgate uses a cap full in a gallon of water and I wash the car just like always. I'm a full believer in using soap and water from a hose to rinse. I even have a hot water tap on the outside for cold weather. I roll old school. :D

The "waterless" car wash is for when you don't have a lot of the thick dirt on it. There is a special technique to keep from grinding the dirt in when using. You really have to attend one of Russ's demos.

I have a lot of experiance with black cars and I've tried every polish under the sun I think and My son got some of these products when in Louisville and I tried it on my new mkz, turned out really Nice. I need to clean, buff etc the GN before I try it on it, but I am a believer now!

Tried my Croftgate starter kit today. Verdicts still out. Looks decent but its supposed to rain tonight, we will see how it holds up to Illinois weather.
From what I've seen, I think it would be a pretty good product to use if I already had the paint done up with compound/polish/wax. If it would just protect all that work I would be happy. Unfortunately its winter here and I have been slacking, its also a daily driver.
