After building a motor for my marauder starting with a 05 aviator unit $1650 shipped to my house with 84k miles found #7&8 exhaust valve leaking. The salvage yard gave my $300 credit to have the heads reconditioned for $500 + gasket and head bolts etc. In parts have just over $2400. + My labor to do the swap and build the motor. You may want to look at a reman from ford. Cost is about $3,200 + labor to install but it is all new or rebuilt with a warranty.
