Thanks Mad, this should help us get to know our MMs a bit better. I was a big time gear head '64 through '71, but I never really grew up. Been out of the know for so long, a lot of this stuff is way beyond me today. This site will help, base principles remain. It is afterall, just a gas motor. Thanks again.

SergntMac: You and I both!! My next door neighbor is a mechanic at L/M dealer and is trying to teach me. I'm lost, and I'm an engineer (electrical, so I can plead mechanical stupidity). Sure a long way from the flat heads I used to put muscle to.
