head rebuild or not?

Ok everyone has the turbo bug as of late so I started my scavenger hunt for part. I have a set of bare cobra heads I was going to piece together. I heard our heads now can handle well above the hp I'm looking to acquire. Sooooo should I rebuild my bare heads or go with my stock heads and just give em the ole port and polish?

They don't need to be ported to make big power but opening up the valve seats will increase flow and help get the hot stuff out of the cylinder.

When they do the valve job have the intake seats opened up to 90% of the valve diameter and on the exhaust side they should be 85% of the VD. If they use a serdi machine they can do both the valve job and opening in one pass.

It's a good idea if you're going with a power adder. BTW, MMR's valves are manleys (MMR makes no internal engine parts).

Sorry I was just on their site so I'm calling everything mmr lol my bad. Thanks for all the help and info. Is there anything I should replace on the heads while they're out like rockers or valve guides or anything? I wanna do this right
