Honestly, that's the best part of my Mustang, and I can change the color. Would love to have this in the Marauder

If someone could get the Marauder sill plate with the lettering cut out, lighted ones could be made, all that's in the "Ford Officially Licensed" lighted sill panels is essentially a fiber optic woven mat with a single incandescent bulb. I imagine that it could be built better than the FOL panels, and use a better light source such as bright LED, and good fiber optics (have used Lumitex before, dont know about any others) Have not taken an OEM one apart to see how they differ from the accessory kit. Would be interesting to see someone build a set, I'd buy em.

x2. You just take fastblackmerc door sills and knock out the recessed lettering . Then you mill out a slot running the length of the door sills pretty much on the underside of them deep enough to fit the lighting you want to go with. Then you glue or somehow adhear translucent white plastic over the back off the lettering inside the whole part of the slot on the backside covering all the letters and put the lighting behind that and run the wiring. Not that hard if you have a steady hand and the time/tools.

I'd give it a try, love fabbing things up myself, but my "project list" is so full that I'd get my ass kicked if I started something completely different! I would like to see a set made though, but I'd love to buy a set of the ones that are already available as they are sweeeet, may add those to my list of purchases to make next week.

Yeah it doesn't seem that hard to fab up just kinda time consuming to do it right and not make it look like a hack job. I saw some lit ones on an ad for Mustangs and it said make your own custom ones. Went to the site and was sadly disappointed in the choices and the prices sucked IIRC
