I wonder if the mounting points are the same as the short version in the B and my 2004.

I am no expert, but I looked at mounting bracket and there are only screw holes in the front that appear to have been used (like short?).
In the rear there are 2 strips of thick double sided sticky back tape used to attach to roof metal.
