I have two polished Marauder wheels.
One with a front tire, has 5K miles on it.
Another with a rear tire on it, worn close to the wear markers.

Which one should become the spare?
Differential matched sized rear?
Or steering alignment front?

Use the front, itll save some space and weight, if you ever needed it for the rear, youll atleast know that you have a correct spare at home, once you get there

I'd use the tire with the least tread on it for the spare.

For long trips I'd use both, around your local area I'd go with the front.

JimmyXR7,

It was the driver's rear tire. I figured I picked up a nail but the guy at the GoodYear where I had it repaired said it lost the bead.

Dunno if that helps you with your decision

Thanks, I heard that the front tire can kick-up a screw or nail and set it up to puncture the rear tire. So I am putting the worn rear tire in the trunk as the spare. Jim
