Compass wiring

These wires are from the overhead console. Which one "color" of the wire(s) powers the compass?

hmmm good question... The big book for marauder/Merc & vic's at my dads house... Im going over there in a hour or so... Ill try to look it up for you then... unless anyone else chimes in sooner

Use a test light to see which wire it is.

I had a drop down TV installed just behind the center console. I assume the guy that installed the TV was being lazy and may have used the power wire from the compass to power the TV? The compass has not work since the install.

It could be if he cut the wire. It also could be a resistor that comes loose. If you can take the compass apart and take a picture of the circuit board I can tell if the resistor is there or not.
