Thanks guys. Brad and Mike have been a great help putting this together. We are very proud to host MV11 and can't wait till it gets here. There's going to be lost of fun taking place and I have a feeling a little pavement striping as well. Jake, as Mike said, If you go home with them we didn't do our job! LOL! I'll be signing the hotel contract prior to the end of the year and we will have room info for you after the new year.

Southern Hospitality is truly something to behold, and I can't wait for all of you to experience it Atlanta style.

Chris, Mike, and I take great pride in putting this together and the rest of the Atlanta crew are very eager to help make this an incredible Marauderville

At my age, it is foolish to make plans this far in advance, but I will do everything I can to make it--I want at least one more chance to "run with the Gang" . When I got my Marauder, a major change took place in my life. I met some of the greatest folks over the 3 Maraudervilles I was honored to attend. There are so many new people I haven't met yet and would sure like to get to know. So, all you good folks keep your fingers crossed for me. As far as my driving skills at this age, I just got back from a couple days running with a couple of Ozark Ridge Runners--we had a ball--twistees and turniees and upsies and downies--and once actually was airborne. The Old Man still has IT---now, how much longer can I keep IT;) Watch out Marty, here I come. See all you folks in September Yeaaaaah Maury

Just spit-ballin' here, but what would y'all think about doing some sort of gas price guessing contest?

Everyone interested throw in a buck and guess what the price of 93 octane will be at 5pm on the 19th of Sept (or some other time/date during MVXI). The gas station that is closest to the MVXI hotel will be used as the 'official' price of gas. Tie-breakers will be, price of diesel, price of mid-grade, and price of regular. All participants will need to submit their 'guess' for all four by midnight, 18 March 2013. Monies will be paid during MVXI.

Offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes; closest to actual price, over or under. Winner gets 75% of pot, 2nd place gets 20%, 3rd gets 5%.

For the MVII convoy--we had 2 meet-up points--one South of Chitown and another about 200 miles West of Indy. In the convoy we had cars from Washington state, California, Las Vegas, Chicago, Texas, Oklahoma and Iowa. We all made rendesvous contacts within 15 minutes using cell phones and walkie talkies. I think the last leg was led by BigDogJim from New Jersey !! It was something I will never forget.
