I'd like to propose a SOUTH BOUND travel group for MVXI. I'm in Grand Rapids Michigan, not the farthest North but darn close to it. I'd love to get a bunch of us Northern Marauders together and run South to the ATL together for MVXI. You must be map challenged. ;) Any route from Chicago, Michigan and north of there comes through Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville and Atlanta. It is unlikely that their paths would even cross unless someone wants to drive 300 miles out of their way.

CAM and Carolina folks will likely link up with the New England, NY and East Coast folks as they head south on I-95/I-85.

Coming from Eastern PA, my quickest route is I-81 South to I-77 South into Charlotte then getting on I-85 to Atlanta, I would think most of us from the Northeast would go this way. The only other option is I-95 to I-85, but I avoid it at all costs due to congestion and tolls in NYC, Philly, Baltimore, & D.C. corridor.

I-81/I-77 adds about 30-50 miles for me. Lots of 18 wheelers on I-81 running side by side on hills. Since I am stuck starting the DC Metro area, I'll stick to the I-95/I-85 plan. Was a nice clear ride to Charlotte for MV8. Same same when I made the trip to Fort Benning in 2006 or so. Maybe I'll just take the Auto Train to Florida and link up with the SSM guys coming north. ;)

I'm in West Michigan (Grand Rapids), would like to get a group together to roll to Louisville....meet up with the Chi Town crew and roll South? Date? Times? Locations?

My shop is located right downtown Grand Rapids, 1/4 mile off of the highway, Northern and Western Michigan residents that are headed down would you like to meet here? Lets plan this thing so that it works for all. I figure we could head South towards Kzoo and take 94 towards chi town, that way we pick up those of you coming from the East side....
