I currently have NO cats & 4" tips on my car but they are the short ones from Borla which go into resinators then into their mufflers.

My question is if I go with full length 4" tips on the rear without res would it be way too loud?? I like the sound now but I don't like the short tips on the rear. I like the full look or at least long enough to go into the back bumper.

Aren't you selling those 4" tips?

Probably not too much louder as I assume you have the stock mufflers.

Just going to have a more deeper tone if you install the 4 in Meg tips.

The stock/original tips have the resonators built in them.....fyi.

I got Borlas on my Rauder with the 4 in Meg tips but still have all 4 cats and there is a much deeper tone now.

I like the low rumble/tone without all the loud noise.

Also, another important fact is there is no drone like I had when I installed flowmaster 40s on my p71.

All up to you......or as the saying goes to each his own.

I can deal with the more tone I just wouldnt want it sounding too crazy loud like open headers, crazy drone or afterwards have the "why the hell did he/I do that" lingering

I guess i wont know until I try huh

It won't be crazy loud like if uncapped and the Borlas don't have the ridiculous drone like some other mufflers.

Just make sure to extend your tips about 1/2- 1 in. past the bumper as this also helps to elimate drone.
