so for christmas, im getting a used set of steeda ud pulleys as a few of you may know. however, these ud pulleys didn't come with the 12mmX60mm bolt to get the crank pulley started. i was hoping somebody here could lead me in the right path of obtaining this bolt. does anybody have one they could lend me?, i will pay shipping both ways. if not does anyone know of the specs on this bolt(like tpi and such), or where i could get one? im going to try and call steeda tommorow and see if they can help also, it would be nice to have one for myself. thanks guys

Any good hardware store (not a big box one) should be able to help you.

Found this place online.

That bolt is used specifically for getting the pulley onto the crank. Running it down too far will ruin your day as it can bottom out and break off in the crankshaft.

Make sure caution is used during install!

Mike.

I just put it on, took a mallet and tapped it on gently.

Yup, works most every time. I tap it on until the bolt can be started. Then I tap a couple times, snug the bolt, and repeat this until the bolt is in about 1/2". Once there I just tighten the bolt.

Don't forget silicone sealer in the key way or you'll have an oil leak.
