For those of you that followed my first thread ("Gleaming New MM With Factory Sunroof"), I am glad to report that I finally got to take my new baby home on Saturday. There was a lot of mind-numbing paperwork. After that, as the sun was setting, I slipped in my new Beach Boys # 1 hits CD, which I got for this occasion, and I finally got to drive the car off of the raised platform that they put her on. The car looked fantastic. It was wonderful to open the factory sunroof and literally drive off into the sunset.
For those of you that requested, I will post some pictures of the factory moonroof and control switch. I must say that the operation of the moonroof is very quiet and smooth.
There were a few delivery defects which I did not discover until the next day. (scratches on side of pass side front seat, scratch on speedo lens and on right side exhaust tip) which the dealership could not have been nicer about offering to fix.
All in all, I am just really enjoying this car and am delighted that I bought it.

I am going to enjoy the car in stock form for a while to see how I feel about modifications. I have read some posts from those that felt the MM could use more low-end get-up and go. However, as an owner of cars like a Grand National and a 1996 Impala that are good off of the line, I was pleasantly surprised by the low-end snap that the MM had coming home from the dealership.
An interesting point about cosmetics is that the dealership had never sold an MM with the factory available spoiler (go figure), but after seeing mine the sales manager said that the spoiler made the car look even better. Realizing that different looks appeal to different people, I think that the combination of the spoiler and the moonroof really adds an even more refined look to the MM. I was very pleased with the quality of the re-paint on the spoiler before they installed it.

That's a good plan^^^.
It makes you appreciate it when/if you decide to make changes even more.

When I first took a Marauder for a test drive I felt it had a good jump for on the go, but I was deeply disappoint with its off the line acceleration. Luckily my wife found Kenny Brown's site and the rest is history. I don't regret a thing and am very happy with my car's performance. Just a few more mods to go, all are past the planning stage, and in another month there will be a new and further modded Black Bomber. Good luck and enjoy and welcome to the Marauder collective. You have been assimilated, resistance to modding is futile.

Congrats on the new ride. Welcome to the fold! I look forward to seeing your pictures, especially an ext w/ the spoiler. I haven't seen a silver w/ it yet. I considered adding it to my MM, but couldn't find a photo. Too late to add the moon roof though (don't want an aftermarket), but I'm glad you like yours.

The Marauder should come with the factory Spoiler as a Standard item, not an option.
All Mustang GT's come with standard spoiler, if you want the car then the spoiler is part of the package, no choice.

The option of having the spoiler installed at the factory would seem to be a better idea in terms of efficiency and in light of the reported damage to spoilers that are shipped to the dealers. Oh well, that shipped appears to have already sailed. All of my previous cars had the spoiler installed at the factory.
