Over the years I have seen many different car show boards and presentations at various different MM.net meets.
These presentations and boards are all top notch and after doing some research (Ie: tried the search button) I would like to see them posted here in this thread.
So if you have one can you please post them up and also give us an idea on how you made it and maybe some costs involved.
Thanks for your efforts and I am really looking forward to this :woohoo:

Mine is a "Do It Yourself" version. I built it in MS PowerPoint using my own design and pics of the car along with some other pics and graphics. When I got it to where I liked it, I e-mailed the file to FedEx/Kinkos to have them print it up on a foam board backer. Notice that it still has "327 Blue MMs". Missed making this correction again after the FPG certificates were issued.
Got three (3) different sizes: 18" by 24", 11" by 17", and 8.5" by 11" for a total of $61.00 (about $10.00 per square foot for each. The biggest board was $30.00. That is the one I use under the hood. Sometimes I also put the medium board in the trunk and the small one in the driver's seat or dash area.

Here it is with the full display at Marauderville X (MV10) in South Haven, MI.

And the rear view .... I put the "Window Sticker" board in the trunk with the show binder, posters and brochures this time.

I dont know how much it was to create the sign as it was a gift, but to put it on the metal board was $100.00.

A certificate to design a board was my Christmas gift this year. I have several idea's for it, I just need to see how they would look printed out.

I remembered yours from South Haven and your display was top notch! My dad and I really thought it was sharp not to mention how clean your car was.
Thank you for posting up :D

I will try to get some pics of mine this week..I made mine from plywood I had in the garage...put a wood trim border around them (bought from the local Ace hardware store for a few $) and painted both in the colors of my choice.
I put all the information I have been collecting from Ford and from other sources...as others have done here...and then I made some others with pics I saved from car mags and such...someone else also has the girl riding the piston like I do...and I got a couple from Hemmings Muscle Machine ads...typed my own captions for the pics...and put all that in frames to display on the boards with the other stuff...again, like others have done here. I have also seen old antique luggage opened with showboards placed in them...nice idea too.
Always get a lot of comments about all the pics from folks attending the shows.
Lots of fun.

Those are some nice @$$ displays. Really loving them. And @Bluerauder do you put the mats down at all car shows? Looks really cool but I'd imagine it'd be a pain. I just use a printed out sheet of paper telling a couple things about my car and toss it in the window for anyone curious. Nothing fancy:(

I just got the checkerboard mat last June for Father's Day from my kids. It has only been out a couple times this year with the Marauder and once with the Taurus SHO. Actually, the mat is pretty lightweight and it comes accordion folded so it goes out easily and folds up quickly too. It has a nice zippered storage bag. Not a problem on hard surface. Might be issues on grass or gravel if it rained unexpectedly during the show. Thanks for the compliments. :D

Oh thats not bad at all then. I was thinking they were the tile like ones and you had to take it out and put them all together each time. Kinda sets it apart from the crowd very nice:)

Just one question, Charlie....where do you store the chess pieces? They have to be HUGE!
Looks great...makes the bottom of your MM look like it has that pattern painted on it...

Thanks !! The Chess Pieces ride in the back seat unless I need a couple up from to qualify for HOV-3 on the way to work. ;)
BTW -- Several parks in Germany (e.g. Louisen Park outside Mannheim for one) had life sized Chess & Checkerboards with pieces 4 feet tall. It was not unusual to see a group of older gentlemen sitting on the side and playing chess with these sets. Bystanders would chip in to help them move the pieces. :D
These are mine.

Always triple check your stuff too. Is amazing how much incorrect info or mis-spelling people do on them.
Common ones at mustang stuff is
"BBS Headers" and "BBK wheels" mixed up.
3 1/4" inch headers.
Breaks instead of brakes.
For some reason a few years ago people started putting glitter on the ground by their cars. It was horrible. It would either blow into your car or it would get into your car because it was on your shoes.
gdmjoe: I like how yours looks like a dealer info board.

I went low tech. An old rotor, an 11x17 frame from Micheals and some 1" railing fittings. The whole thing brakes down in seconds with an allen wrench that I have clipped in the back of the frame. Just printed it on a color laser printer at work.
