How strong is the Original marauder crank? Like how much hp can it hold?

Block and crank are pretty stong, 500+ hp shouldn't be an issue; the rods and pistons are the weak link in a stock motor.

I know the rods and pistons are weak. But the crank can hold what 600hp or 700hp. I kinda want to know the max limit on the crank.

Several guys have gone over 600hp on the 6 bolt crank. However i would spend the money on a kellogg crank.

Yes and yes. Even though the stockers can handle a good amount, the forged cranks have extra counterweights in the center of the crank for better rotating mass weight distribution. Less vibration, flex etc.

I would personally not trust any stock crank above 500 horse...you are asking for trouble! If you are building that much power you can afford a crank...IMHO that is...

Yea that is a good movie.

I was only wondering about the crank because, I'm only looking to get about 550 at the rears and ill be happy with that. But for now the stock motor will do with 450 at the wheels
