Car only driven 500 miles per year for last 5 years.

Is this fair price? :bows: :bows:

What should I look out for on car (I am a car guy--I am asking for Marauder specific things to check - MADE UP EXAMPLE: Bounce the back end hard 8 times to check air suspension...

Yes. Paid 16 for my Mint black with 34k last year at the local Ford dealer.

If you have some pictures post them. Also looking at the engine just see if you can notice anything that looks different from a 10 year old car. A lot of people buy parts from an 03 crown vic because its cheaper. Ca cars dont rust so youre good there. They dont really have many mechanical issues that are super common.

I paid 18, 800 for mine with 1,756 miles on it so I got a steal but 30k I would say $15k. Saw a 04 fully loaded with 25k for $16.9k

I got mine for 150000 with 20500 miles. With some mods rims tune lowered and mufflers. There is always room for Negotiations as a buyer. Good luck with the buy.

I paid $16,500 for my '04 DRT with 22,000 miles two years ago...bought from original owner...and older gent who rarely drove the car...always garaged it...my MM has all the options except sunroof which I did not want anyhow...so price seems fair.
If I were to sell mine today, given all I have done to it over the last two years...I would ask more (has only 23,5000 miles on it now) but as has been mentioned...there is usually room for some dealing. Good luck with your MM business.

I payed $17,000+ for my 2004 DTR no options what so ever, with 24,000+ miles back in March of 2009. It was in perfect condition stock condition.

This is out here in PA but ill see if its still there next time I drive by. It was a trade in at my old dealer. I know they repainted the back bumper and put 2 new center caps on. Thwy said something about the rear suspension being adjusted to sit lower but im not sure. Ill let you know by the end of the weekend.

I think that is a fair price for a Cali car. I paid 18 for my 04 SB 3 years ago with 23/4k miles on her.

+1 ^^^^. That was my initial thought too. MM prices are beginning to level off. Those with low miles in top condition are hard to find and are commanding higher prices. You can find 'em cheaper but with more wear and tear.

Low miles plus good condition = worth the price.

FWIW, moonroof cars are pretty rare; only 1,214 cars optioned with moonroofs, and of those, only 336 were SB, so finding one in the condition you're considering is gonna be the proverbial needle in a haystack.

If you like the car, go for it!

No records of any kind. probably original radiator fluid, tranny fluid, PS, PB, rear end. Will need to buy tires and should probably have most of the fluids changed before i drive it home.... ADVICE.... ????
