Has anyone made a funtional hood scoop? If yes, Pictures would be great!!

How do you mean functional? Ram air or just extra cooling? I dont have one at all btw.

Functional means, it actually works and gets cooler and or denser air to your intake instead of it being just a hood ornament..

Same hood as mine, it's the Class Glass 2.5" cowl hood.

Functional means, it actually works and gets cooler and or denser air to your intake instead of it being just a hood ornament..
Where the factory inlet in will not allow much to do besides a ram air using some tubing and funneling it in. The Class Glass 2.5" cowl hood acts more like a heat extractor but it does draw in fresh air as the vehicle is in motion and allows a lot of heat to escape when not in motion. These were the two main reason I got mine.

If you are drawing air from the engine compartment the best way to cool the air charge is to rid the engine compartment of its hot air.

In order for a hood scoop to be functional in the way you describe would be if the inlet tube was sealed to a rear facing hood scoop (like a cowl).
