S O L D ! S O L D ! S O L D !
My days as a two-Marauder owner are numbered. I'm putting up for sale my 2004 Silver Birch. I'm the second owner of the car, having purchased it from the little old lady (no, really) original owner in 2011. I'd seen the car around Friendswood since moving here and had talked to the lady and told her I'd be interested if she ever decided to sell it. Summer of 2011 she emailed me and said they were ready to get rid of it. They were going to trade it on a new Hyundai Genesis sedan. I bought it from them before they traded.
I originally bought the car intending for my oldest daughter to drive when she got old enough, but that day isn't here for more than another year. I just bought my wife a new Expedition, and that brings us to 7 vehicles registered and insured for two drivers in the house. I just can't stand that anymore, and more importantly, my wife can't stand it!!!
The car has 160K on it, and it shows a few very minor dings in the exterior that you could imagine from a little old lady driver who parks in the closest spaces. I see no signs that it has ever had any body work, and they told me that it had never been wrecked.
The interior is VERY clean. A complete maintenance history is provided, with most of it coming from the selling Lincoln / Mercury dealer.
I bought it with 142K on it. Since I've had it I've put brakes and shocks on it, rebuilt the rear end with new axles and bearings and it's got new spark plugs. It's had the oil filter adaptor gasket changed with an oil and coolant change. It's wearing almost new and factory correct BFG KDWSs.
The original radio did the infamous reception fading out trick, so I replaced it with the Escape Audiophile mp3 unit and it works great. The AC blows ICE cold and is the BEST AC unit in any of the vehicles I own.
The bads are that the adjustable pedals are not working (imagine that!) and it needs a fog light. The lens is broken but the light still works.
This car runs and drives BETTER than my 03 with 66K miles on it, and almost all of the miles I've put on it have been put on by my wife. It is completely stock except for the radio, right down to the tires.

I'm asking $8500 for it on CL, but I'll knock a grand off for any of you guys for a quick sale. Thanks for looking.
