Did you drain the coolant and burp the system

Silly question. Did you unplug the two sensors on the cross over tube and not plug them back in??

No need to open the cooling system.
I bet there are some connectors disconnected or wires cut.

BURP!!!! i let it cool down.... the pressure on the lines lowered... saw that water could flow... and VOILA! temp riding right in the middle again...

Burping the system is a must if you break the seal and drain. ;)

heres the thing... i didnt drain anything... actually, i didnt loose a drop of antifreeze (hoisted the hoses up, all the fluid stayed in due to wonderful gravity.....
I dont know what happened.... but shes fine now...
2nd scare i had.... one time it was SOO HOT and i was stuck on a highway... after i drained and refilled.....
but, anyway.. situation solved.

Oh, and by the way... i managed to change all the seals including the gasket (Passenger side) without actually removing the cover..... it was a PITA!!!! my fingers bloody as hell.... but, i dont have the parts or the knowhow to disconnect the transmission and tilt the engine foward.... my luck, the whole damn thing will come crashing to the ground.
so, it got done all by the pan being lifted 2 inches.... worked the new gasket on... put the new silver spark plug things... and grommets on top..
did i mention... PAIN IN THE ASSSSSSSS!
